Fish Hoek Wine was introduced by Flagstone Wine in Cape Town, South Africa in 2003. In 2007, it was acquired by The Hardy Wine Company, which was a division of Constellation Brnads. In 2010, they sold an 80% stake in The Hardy Wine Company to CHAMP Private Equity, which renamed the business to Accolade Wines. In 2018, Accolade was sold to the American private equity company The Carlyle Group.
