They sold the business to Hardy Wine Company in 1988. In 1992 Hard merged with Berri Renmano Limited to become BRL Hardy Limited. In 2003, they merged with Constellation Brands Australia to become The Hardy Wine Company, which was a division of Constellation’s larger company. In 2010, they sold an 80% stake in the company to CHAMP Private Equity, which renamed the business to Accolade Wines. In 2018, Accolade was sold to the American private equity company The Carlyle Group.
