The Crossings wine was founded in Nelson, New Zealand in 2001 by a group of investors led by Allan Wright and Michael Millar. In 2011, the brand was sold to Yealands Wine Group, which at the time was owned by founder Peter Yealands. Four years later, however, he sold an 80% stake to local energy company Marlborough Lines. they purchased the rest of the company in 2018.
