TERLATO WINE GROUP

What does TERLATO WINE GROUP Own?

Terlato Wine Group was founded in Chicago, Illinois in 1938 by Anthony Paterno. It was originally a grocery store with a strong wine and liquor component, and in 1946 they purchased Pacific Wine Company to begin bottling wine. In 1956, Paterno’s daughter Josephine married Anthony Terlato, who would go on to become the company’s president. Under his leadership, Pacific Wines (as it was known at the time) began exporting fine wines from Italy and around the world, as well as purchasing wineries from within the United States. In 2007, the company was renamed Terlato Wine in his honor.
